-The skid plastic flooring are the most recommended and are less cold and slippery tile to tile.
-To avoid slipping in the bath or shower, placing nonskid mats in it is a minimum requirement.
-It is highly recommended a shower than a bath. The current showers, placed directly on the ground are recommended. If not available, it is that access to shower has the lowest step possible.
-Use grab bars in a color that contrasts with the wall surface. These bars can be installed both in the shower or bath, as in the toilet. This makes it easy to get in and out to the elderly. The plastic handles are preferable to stainless steel, are just as strong and less slippery. We must carefully choose your location and fix it on the wall.
-Find elements that can facilitate the bathroom: bath benches or chairs, lifters with WC, showers, phone, etc..
-A two-way valve, lever taps and preferably, will ensure better management and water temperature is constant.
-The toilet bowl must be sufficiently high: between 45 and 50 centimeters. In the shops there are elevators designed to boost a standard-sized toilet to the required height.
-Ensure that the bath temperature is pleasant.
